Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche communications organisation based in Gloucester to recruit a talented Interim Head of HR for the EMEA region, initially for 14 months to cover for maternity from mid September 2018. The role is full-time and fixed term for 14 months with some travel required on an ad hoc basis to sites in the UK and Europe.

Reporting to the International VPHR, this full-time role will see you manage and coach a European focused / based team of 11, supporting 15 Countries with c. 650 Employees (and growing!) across EMEA.

You will take responsibility for driving the implementation of global and regional strategies and initiatives, being responsible for providing overall direction to the HR Team in the EMEA region, supporting cross-functional demands on the team across all areas including transformation, policy and programme development, employee relations, performance management, service delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with the regional and global leaders, making their objectives your own and influence, coach and support through to achievement.

As a leader, you will inspire those around you through your extensive knowledge, professional approach and leadership skills, while proactively working with your management group to deliver value-added HR services in line with the needs and priorities of the business.

We have been tasked to find a Candidate with a wealth of HR experience across the full spectrum who possesses the drive and urgency to perform well under pressure and to tight deadlines. The business is fast-paced and commercially focused, so you will be naturally goal-orientated to drive the team to achieve business and department objectives.

This role is looking after the EMEA region; therefore we are looking for someone with the ability to understand and manage the complexity involved, demonstrated by proven ability to lead and develop HR team members across a geographical region.

You will be a strong communicator with the ability to build robust relationships based on trust and respect, while delivering clear, concise advice and direction. You will not waiver in the face of a challenge and you won’t be afraid to take risks where appropriate. You will be an optimist, show initiative and bring fresh ideas to the business. Experience in a multi-region, multi-cultural global organisation would be highly beneficial.
