Job description

Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche Organisation with their Head Office based in Swindon to recruit an enthusiastic HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. The role could suit a Senior HR Advisor looking to step up into a HRBP role or an experienced HRBP looking for a challenging move.

As the HR Business Partner, you will efficiently and professionally support the HR function in line with key business objectives and HR strategy, making the HR department a highly cost effective, valued and well-regarded resource for the business.

Working with the Head of HR, you will ensure the leadership, organisational structure, working and management practices are at the optimum level to drive and support business performance. You will be expected to contribute to the management of the HR team as well as coach, guide and support through key HR workstreams as well as the day to day. You will take an active lead in data management and metrics and will be the owner of the entire HRIS system and its processes.

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide commercially focused and pragmatic generalist and technical HR expertise to enable the delivery of high and sustained business performance and best practice through targeted HR interventions including leading and influencing cultural and organisational change, talent management, succession planning and recruitment, ER, reward and recognition and L&D
  • Partner with all business areas to ensure regular working relations and inclusion / engagement is maintained
  • Develop and champion a high-performance culture across the business. Coach, influence, up-skill and encourage senior leaders to provide clear direction and line managers to provide continuous goal clarity, feedback and development
  • Talent acquisition – work with the HR team to ensure effective hiring strategies; ensure teams are recruiting for the future as well as the now
  • Promote employee engagement though surveys, communication and external awards
  • Assist with developing and implementing the strategy for HR management and development
  • Develop and maintain effective management information reports
  • Seek and deliver process improvements in order to sustain an up to date service to customers, linking in with the Company brand / EVP
  • Complete HR project work as required
  • Continue to develop and embed the Company’s culture
  • Take an active lead in succession planning, workforce planning and all Learning and Development initiatives to drive success

You will have proven experience of working in a generalist role with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels as well as having previously managed others / a small team. You will possess sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as possessing CIPD Level 5 qualification. It goes without saying that you will have excellent oral and written skills which facilitate effective communication at all levels, are meticulous in your attention to detail, are confident in your approach with the ability to make appropriate decisions using own initiative. You will also enjoy a busy environment and are able to multi-task in an organised manner displaying excellent time management skills.
