Job description

Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this technology / innovation orientated Organisation based in Fleet, Hampshire, to recruit an experienced Employee Relations / Commercial People Partner on a permanent basis. The role is full time with a requirement for 3 days in the Fleet office per week – free onsite parking is available and the train station is a stone’s throw.

Reporting into the Head of HR Operations and forming part of the wider HR Team of 11, we’re looking for a pragmatic, commercial and action-orientated Employee Relations / People Partner to lead on senior / complex ER and potential exits, performance as well as current and future skill analysis which may result in departmental restructures.

We are looking for an experienced ER / People professional who is used to working at pace, managing complex ER issues and escalated cases so that employees and managers are supported during performance management. You will be used to building and managing relationships with stakeholders to ensure good employee relations exist and support delivery of the People plan across all areas of the business. You will also provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies, regularly refreshing and updating company policies with relevant legislative changes aligned to the business strategy. Demonstrable change and business transformation coupled with extensive ER exposure is where experience lies and what you thrive upon.

About You:

  • Commercial ER experience, working with senior stakeholders with a practical mindset, seen as an expert in field
  • Level 7 CIPD (desirable)
  • Substantial experience of complex employee relations cases with the ability to identify business risks before providing recommendations
  • Ability to build immediate connections with people who have multiple priorities that might be different to yours as well as good influencing skills
  • Strong adaptability, flexing style and approach to work with individuals with multiple and differing priorities
  • Solution oriented with innovative problem solving that enables pace and shows good business acumen
  • Track-record of successfully coaching and developing senior managers on people matters and complex employee relations matters
  • Confidence and gravitas to present at senior level
  • Partnering with stakeholders to create people related solutions that drive a high-performance culture and builds strong employee engagement
  • Superb attention to detail, right first-time approach with the ability to deliver effectively and seamlessly
